Thread so the hook is hidden. A bunch, often bound, for a long chuck. Tougher than blow lug, so it survives the punch better.
A tougher sand worm than blow lug, often sold blast-frozen as ‘black lug’ or ‘yellowtails’. It holds on a hook for a clipped-down punch and a wait. Blow lug is still the usual shop bag for a first night; this is the distance version.

- 1Keep them cool. Frozen black lug should thaw just enough to hook, not turn to soup.
- 2A bunch on a Pennel or a clipped-down for distance. A single is still fine for a dab.
- 3Bind if you are punching. The point must still prick.
- 4Do not treat it as a different species of magic — it is lug, built for the chuck.
