Pick one mark type, one bait, one rig, a tide window from a real table, and stay long enough for the water to move.

A two-hook flapper, a bag of lug or rag, a 4–5 oz grip lead, a torch, a way to measure a fish, and a charged phone. Six mystery packets and three rods is how first sessions go badly.
