Premium terms

These notes describe the intended Premium product. They are not a substitute for a lawyer-reviewed contract and are not a GDPR certificate.

Indicative prices: £4.99 a month or £39.99 a year. When Stripe secrets are present, card checkout runs on Stripe Checkout. We only grant Premium after Stripe confirms the payment to our server. We will not display a fake paid subscription.

Launch offers: when a campaign is running, eligible signed-in users may claim Premium free for a stated period (the launch campaign is 3 months for the first 50). No card and no payment method. That is not lifetime Premium. We will not take a card payment at the end of the period unless you later start a real subscription with proper consent. Places are counted on the server in a transaction so two people cannot take the last place. When no places remain the campaign is hidden. Existing Founding Anglers keep their remaining months. Paid subscribers are not moved onto a free offer.

Photograph identification: Free accounts 1 per calendar month; Premium 10. Unused identifications do not roll over. Identifying by ticking features stays free.

Catch of the Day posting and comments are Premium. Browsing is free. We may suspend Premium for serious or repeated community abuse.

Cancellation: paid subscriptions cancel through the Stripe customer portal. Access continues until the paid period ends unless a refund or failed payment requires earlier revocation.

If Premium ends, your fishing diary is not deleted. Personal intelligence screens simply lock until a new entitlement is granted.

Refunds follow applicable law and these terms as updated. We do not promise an automatic refund.
