UK Sea Fishing Coach is a Beacalls Apps product. Fishing locations are treated as sensitive. We do not publish your marks, GPS or private catch photos to other users. Share cards never include exact coordinates.

You can use the planner and diary without an account. Session answers, theme preference and identification photographs stay on your device unless you sign in and choose to back them up.

When you sign in, diary sessions, catches, notes and optional photographs are stored against your authenticated user only. Exact GPS from your own diary is private to that account. We do not create public marks or a public map of fishing spots.

Catch of the Day is a public community of photographs that Premium anglers choose to post. Posts may include a general place name if the poster types one. Exact GPS is rejected. Other users cannot see your private diary or private marks.

Official tide services and the MET Norway forecast, when connected, receive a rounded coordinate so that session can be looked up. They do not receive the name you gave a private mark. If the forecast cannot be loaded, Check Live Weather opens BBC Weather using a town or beach name only — never GPS or private mark coordinates. Photograph identification sends a compressed image, never GPS, never your diary.

We store plan, entitlement and Founding Angler status on the server for signed-in accounts. Photograph identification counts are stored per authenticated user and calendar month. First-party product events (planner used, diary saved, identification used, upgrade viewed, Catch of the Day viewed) do not include marks or GPS.

A postcode search is used only to pick a general coastal area. The postcode stays on this device. It is stored in the browser only if you tick remember this postcode, and it is never written into share cards, Catch of the Day posts, or a public map. Public fishing marks may have a town or beach name. Private diary marks stay private.
